Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes exclusively from a vineyard in Sulcis, where vines up to 60 years old grow in sandy soil. The vineyard lies at approximately 100 m above sea level on east- and southeast-facing hillsides.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at night, allowing them to cool naturally. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks under computer-controlled conditions.
Ageing
After fermentation, the wine matures first in oak barrels and then in steel tanks. It is released three years after the harvest.
Tasting profile
Concentrated aromas lead to a distinctive flavour that expresses the character of its growing site.
Label / history
Mantènghja means “ancient blessing” in the old Gallurese dialect.
