Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from high hillside vineyards in Trentino, around Trento, the Brentonico Plateau and Valle dei Laghi. The sites are at 500–600 m above sea level, on loose, generally shallow soils of glacial and volcanic origin.
Vinification
Healthy grapes are harvested into small crates and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel vats and barriques. Secondary fermentation begins in April of the year following the harvest.
Ageing
The wine rests in bottle for 70 months.
