Questo vino

Vineyard and terroir

The organically grown fruit comes from a vineyard in the Rosso di Montalcino area. It is divided into three blocks planted in 1978, 1983 and 2000.

Grapes

The variety is the Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello) selection.

Vinification

Healthy grapes at optimal ripeness are harvested by hand and carefully selected. Fermentation and skin-contact maceration take place in cement tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is bottled without filtration and may therefore develop a natural sediment.

Ageing

The wine matures for 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

Serving and pairing

Decanting before serving is recommended.
