Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the town of Barbaresco, a few hundred metres from its historic tower. The vineyard has a southern exposure and clay-and-limestone soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the first ten days of October.
Ageing
The wine ages for 30 months in 40- and 50-hectolitre oak casks.
Serving and pairing
Decant for two hours before serving.
