The grapes are grown in vineyards in the commune of San Gimignano at an altitude of 500 m.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C.
Label / history
Wines under the Chiantigiane label are made by several small wineries that have pooled their resources. Together, their vineyards cover 2,460 ha, with cellars in the provinces of Florence, Siena and Pistoia.
