Vineyard and terroir
Barbera d’Alba Bricco S. Biagio comes from the historic Bricco San Biagio subzone of La Morra. The hillside site has a southern exposure at 250 m above sea level, with sandy, calcareous and clay soils. The vines average 65 years of age and are planted at 7,000 vines per hectare. Yield is 50 hl/ha, and annual production is approximately 2,500 bottles.

Temperature-controlled maceration takes place in stainless steel.
Ageing
The wine matures in French oak.
Technical data
Alcohol is 14–14.5%, with acidity of 5.4–5.8 g/L. Available formats are 0.375 L, 0.75 L and 1.5 L.
Tasting profile
Compact ruby red with purple highlights. The bouquet combines sweet spice and red fruit with balsamic and floral nuances. The palate is rich and powerful, balanced by vibrant freshness and ending with notable persistence.
Serving and pairing
Pair with pasta dressed with game sauces, boiled or roasted meats, and medium-mature cheeses. Cellaring potential is 6–8 years.
