Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the “Bricco di Vergne” vineyard in Barolo and the “Tantesi” vineyard in Monforte d’Alba.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the first two weeks of October, then destemmed and fermented in stainless-steel tanks for 10–12 days. Malolactic fermentation follows alcoholic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months, with 30–40% in French oak barrels and the remainder in large Slavonian oak casks. After blending, it rests for at least 60 days in stainless-steel tanks, followed by 30 days in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
Rich and balanced.
