Questo vino

Vineyard and terroir

The vines grow between 240 and 360 metres above sea level in medium-textured soils rich in marl dating from the Eocene period.

Grapes

100% Sangiovese.

Vinification

Fermentation and refinement take place in stainless-steel and vitrified-concrete vats. Cooling plates and jackets provide temperature control.

Tasting profile

Ruby red. Red-berry aromas are complemented by delicate floral and spicy nuances. The palate is warm and soft, with substantial structure and rounded tannins.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 18°C in medium-sized crystal glasses. Store bottles horizontally, away from light and protected from extreme or fluctuating temperatures. Suitable throughout a meal, especially with vegetable soups, cold cuts, cheeses, and red-meat first or main courses.
