Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Piedmont.
Vinification
Production begins immediately after harvest. The grapes are pressed, then pure Buongusto alcohol is added to the must to halt the natural alcoholic fermentation. The residual sweetness therefore comes entirely from the grapes’ natural sugar, while the grapes’ aroma is preserved.
Citrus peel, seeds, roots, flowers and other botanicals are infused in alcohol for 1–2 weeks. Around twelve extracts are tasted in different combinations to determine their proportions before being blended into the wine.
Ageing
The finished vermouth matures for several months before bottling.
Tasting profile
A distinctive, aromatic vermouth with complex flavours and a harmonious balance.
Serving and pairing
It may be served as an aperitif or as a digestif with desserts and cheeses.
Label / history
In the Piedmontese dialect, “Bonme” means wormwood, a key botanical in traditional vermouth recipes.
