Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Sardinia’s Tirso River valley, in sandy-clay soils and a Mediterranean climate marked by warm winters and hot, windy summers.
Grapes
The blend comprises 90% Nieddera and 10% other red varieties. Nieddera has been cultivated since ancient times and grows only in the Tirso River valley.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully sorted and pressed, then macerated on their skins for 12–24 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C. No sulfites are added.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks for several months.
