Label / history
Prearìn takes its name from preare, the stone quarries in the hamlet of Prun, in the upper part of Valpolicella Classica. Quarrying shaped the local economy for centuries. Its legacy remains visible in vineyard dry-stone walls known as marogne and in other boundaries built from the same local stone.
