Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Veronese hills.
Grapes
Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella.
Tasting profile
A dry sparkling rosé with a brilliant colour and fine, persistent perlage. The fresh, fragrant nose recalls tea rose, violet and an assortment of small red fruits. The palate is crisp and dry, with raspberry notes and a pleasing sense of freshness.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 6–8 °C. Excellent as an aperitif and with fish-based starters. It can accompany an entire meal and pairs particularly well with summery Mediterranean dishes.
Label / history
Prearìn derives from preare, the name for the quarries in the hamlet of Prun, characteristic of the highest part of Valpolicella Classica. Quarrying sustained the area for centuries. Local stone survives in vineyard boundaries and in the traditional dry-stone walls called marogne.
