Vineyard and terroir
Domaine Camu is located on the hill of Vézelay, known as the “Eternal Hill.” The estate’s terroir is predominantly clay-limestone. Viticulture in Vézelay dates to Gallo-Roman times and expanded after Benedictine monks established a monastery at the end of the ninth century.
Grapes
Melon de Bourgogne is one of Domaine Camu’s signature grape varieties and forms part of the estate’s presentation of the diversity of Vézelay wines.
