Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in Manduria, Apulia.
Vinification
The wine undergoes 12 days of temperature-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts. Frequent pumping over extracts polyphenols and aromas. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
It ages for 6–8 months in previously used American and French oak barrels.
Label / history
The label is ceramic and shaped like a sun.
