Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the vineyards of Contrada Bellusa.
Vinification
The fruit is harvested by hand during the last ten days of September. It macerates on the skins for 19 days before pressing separates the juice from the skins and pulp. The prolonged skin contact extracts tannins. The wine contains 13 mg/L of sulfites, occurring naturally during fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for two months.
