Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in hillside vineyards in western Sicily, near the province of Trapani.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested into small crates, destemmed and macerated under controlled temperature conditions. After gentle pressing, the must undergoes malolactic fermentation for six months.
Ageing
The bottled wine rests for a further three months before release.
Tasting profile
The aroma is refined. The palate is velvety, with a long-lasting finish.
