Storia
Fazio has been a family-owned winery producing organic wine in Sicily for four generations. The vineyards are located in the Erice area, and the Fazio family played an active role in securing DOC status for this area, in recognition of the quality of local products.
The first vines on the land were planted around 60 years ago. The land itself was given to the Fazio family by the Greek Tosto family.
Two brothers, Girolamo and Vincenzo, were the driving force behind turning the family property into a modern winery. They introduced organic grape-growing practices and equipped the winery with solar panels to produce renewable energy.
