Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on soils composed mainly of sedimentary rock. These soils retain moisture well and impart a mineral character to the fruit.
Vinification
The grapes undergo two selections, first in the vineyard and then at the winery. Fermentation takes place with wild yeasts in temperature-controlled conical stainless-steel tanks, preserving freshness while developing structural complexity.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for one year, bringing its structure into balance.
Serving and pairing
Pairs particularly well with red meat and traditional Italian pasta.
Label / history
The name “Clinio” refers to Tuscany’s Etruscan past.
