Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from growers with whom Bruno Giacosa has worked for many years. The vines average 15 years of age, and yields are limited to 60 hl/ha. Giacosa personally oversees the quality of the grapes.

Vinification

Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks under strictly controlled temperatures.

Ageing

The wine remains in stainless-steel tanks for four months.

Label / history

Arneis has been cultivated in Piemonte since the sixteenth century but long received little attention because it is difficult to work with. With the support of Vietti owner Alfredo Currado, Bruno Giacosa recognized its potential and became the first producer to bottle wines made from the variety.
