Grapes
The blend changes slightly with each vintage. Syrah usually accounts for 60%, accompanied by Merlot, Sangiovese and a small proportion of Alicante.
Vinification
The wine is gently filtered before bottling.
Ageing
It matures for 6–8 months in medium-toast French oak barrels of 300 and 500 litres, followed by further ageing in cement tanks. After bottling, it rests for at least six months in the winery’s cellars.
