Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The production vineyards are identified as being in Montemarzino, Montegioco and Monleale. They cover 12.35 acres, lie at 350–400 metres above sea level and face southwest or southeast. Soils combine marl, limestone and clay with some sand, while the vines average 25 years of age.
Grapes
100% Timorasso, an ancient indigenous Piedmontese variety.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and softly pressed. Alcoholic fermentation follows in small, temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. The wine then remains on its noble lees for eight months, is filtered and spends another three months in bottle before release.
Technical data
The inaugural 2019 vintage yielded 15,000 bottles.
Tasting profile
The wine combines substantial structure and longevity with delicate citrus and floral notes. Its profile is mineral and intense, leading to a vibrant, persistent finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–13 °C in a Burgundy glass.
