Lamoresca

Lamoresca began with its first plot of land, an olive grove containing 46 ancient trees of the local Moresca variety. This variety inspired the name of the farm.

Today

The farm cultivates 25 hectares that include vineyards, olive trees, prickly pears and other fruit trees.

Lamoresca is located in the heart of Sicily, in the small town of San Michele di Ganzaria. The land lies among hills at 430 metres above sea level, surrounded by Mediterranean shrubs and wild grasses. Many kinds of animals, including porcupines, live here in their natural habitat, contributing to biodiversity.

The farm aims to cultivate organically, working within a landscape of Mediterranean shrubs and wild grasses that supports biodiversity, including porcupines and other animals living in their natural habitat.

Lamoresca aims to produce organic food and wine that reflect the distinctive character and richness of its terroir.
