Vineyard and terroir
The 23 ha Tenuta Maccan estate is in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Its predominantly clay-limestone soils are rich in dolomitic limestone, with pebbles, mineral deposits and trace elements that contribute freshness and vibrancy to the grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of September. After 24–48 hours of cold pre-fermentation maceration, they are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The nose is floral and expressive. The palate is soft, elegant and balanced.
