Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow on the morainic hills of Lugana at the southern end of Lake Garda. The clay-limestone soils are of glacial origin and rich in mineral salts, contributing complexity to the wine.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed, then fermented at a controlled low temperature. Sulfur dioxide additions are kept to a minimum to help preserve the wine's quality.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks before being cold-bottled on a sterile line.
Tasting profile
Fresh and aromatic, with a distinctive, full flavour and a persistent finish.
