Vineyard and terroir
Petite Arvine is a rare white variety grown in the Valle d'Aosta at 550–750 m above sea level. The climate is Alpine, with wide temperature differences between day and night that help the grapes retain acidity and aromatic freshness. Mineral-rich soils give the wine its characteristic salty note and mineral finish.
Grapes
The berries are small, which explains the "petite" ("small" in French) in the name. The variety produces light, fresh, mineral wines with lively citrus and fruit notes and high acidity.
Vinification
Whole bunches are gently pressed. Fermentation lasts 12 days in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled 14 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for two months, which preserves its fresh, fruity character and highlights its minerality.
Tasting profile
Bright, elegant and refreshing, with pronounced minerality. The style is light yet expressive, with citrus and fruit notes, a salty note and a mineral finish.
