Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on alluvial soils in the municipality of San Giovanni al Natisone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the winery in small crates. They undergo eight hours of cold maceration in a horizontal press. After settling, the juice ferments in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15 °C.
Ageing
The wine remains on its lees in the same stainless-steel tanks for around five months. After bottling, it matures for a fairly long period before release.
Tasting profile
Pronounced aromas are accompanied by good structure.
