Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Altura vineyard on the hills of Breganze. Its soils are mainly volcanic and tuff-based, and the vines are 35 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in stainless-steel vats, followed by a further six months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The aromatic bouquet combines red berries, cocoa, vanilla and spice. The palate is rich yet fresh.
Label / history
The wine takes its name from the Altura vineyard.
