Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the Monferrato Asti area.
Vinification
After harvest and sorting, the grapes are gently destemmed and lightly pressed. The must undergoes low-temperature maceration for 6–7 days to extract colour and aroma. The temperature is then raised for alcoholic fermentation, with periodic stirring of the must. Malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine remains in steel tanks until spring, when it is bottled and released.
