Label / history
Castelli del Duca is a joint project between the Medici family and a winery in the Piacenza hills. Its name means “the Duke’s Castles” and recalls the Farnese dukes, who ruled this land from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century; castles, monuments and villages from their legacy remain across the hills. Depending on the harvest, annual production does not exceed 30,000 bottles.
