Vineyard and terroir
The Teroldego grows in the Piana Rotaliana, where the Noce and Adige rivers meet. The grapes develop their aroma and flavour qualities here. Teroldego is rarely grown outside the Adige Valley and is regarded as an important symbol of Trentino winemaking.
Vinification
The must is macerated for 5–7 days with regular pumping over. Fermentation is at a controlled temperature of 25–27 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged in oak barrels before bottling. The text gives no barrel size or duration.
Tasting profile
The wine is deeply coloured, with an intense fruity character.
Label / history
The DOC classification on the label confirms that the wine meets requirements covering terroir, grape variety, production methods and alcohol content. Before release the wine also undergoes a tasting assessment.
