Tasting profile

An intense, bright red that develops garnet tones with age. The clean, pronounced bouquet shows spice, berry preserve, vanilla and a buttery nuance. The palate is imposing, round and velvety, with a dense, enveloping tannic structure and excellent persistence.

The official assessment of the 2020 vintage adds dried cherry, tobacco, game and leather aromas. It describes a firm, ripe attack, medium-to-full body, refreshing acidity and a chalky, cherry-stone finish.
