The wine comes from Molino della Suga in Montalcino. Four hectares of the estate’s vineyards are devoted to Rosso di Montalcino.

100% Sangiovese Grosso, presented as the youthful expression of the variety.

Vinification

Traditional red-wine vinification.

Ageing

Maturation takes place in large oak casks.

Technical data

Rosso di Montalcino DOC. Alcohol: 13.5% vol. The wine is packaged in a 750 ml Bordeaux bottle weighing 450 g, with six bottles per case.

Tasting profile

An intense, bright red. The aroma is clean and pronounced, with red-fruit scents and notes of vanilla. The palate is savoury, fresh, and enveloping.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy-shaped glass. Pair with medium-structured dishes, including pasta with tomato or meat sauce, red meat or game, and aged cheeses.
