Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified by a traditional red-wine method.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barrels for at least 12 months, followed by a further 3 months in bottle.

Vintage notes
2019: a very favourable year in Tuscany. The summer was warm and dry, with enough rainfall thanks to rain in July and August. September temperatures stayed around the seasonal average. October brought little rain overall, although it rained frequently. The 2019 wines are considered particularly interesting and of high quality, with deep colour, excellent aromas, concentration and a refined texture.
