Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo grows in a vineyard in Monforte d'Alba planted in 1980. The soil is clay with blue marl, which gives the wine its distinctive character.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place on the skins for 10–12 days in steel tanks at 24–28 °C. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally, adding softness and complexity.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Label / history
The name honours great-grandfather Minot, the first in the family to believe in the land. The wine pays tribute to winemaking tradition and to a family passion passed down from one generation to the next.
