Vineyard and terroir
The fruit was grown at 290–420 m above sea level in the Molsino, Valferana, Casacce and Garavoglie vineyards.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested from 5 to 11 October 2012, gently destemmed and softly pressed, then fermented in stainless-steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation took place in concrete vats.
Ageing
The wine aged for three years in oak barrels, followed by more than six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Label / history
A total of 26,000 bottles of the 2012 vintage were produced.
