Label / history
Canaiolo is presented as an ancient grape of Etruscan origin that has long been used in Chianti. Historically, it formed part of Baron Ricasoli’s Chianti Classico blend alongside Trebbiano, Malvasia and red varieties such as Colorino, helping to soften Sangiovese’s more angular character.
