100% Sangiovese, selected by hand. Production is limited to the best vintages.
Ageing
The wine undergoes extended maturation in wooden barrels.
Technical data
The 2015 wine has 15% alcohol by volume, total acidity of 5.5 g/L and total dry extract of 32.1 g/L. Production amounted to 2,500 bottles.
Tasting profile
Ruby red with garnet highlights. The rich aroma combines mature red fruit with tobacco. Velvety tannins lead into a finely textured, long and persistent palate.

Etichetta Storica represents Ormanni’s highest expression of traditional Sangiovese and is intended to emphasize the variety’s defining character.
