Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard sits at the top of a hill on volcanic basalt soils with limestone outcrops. The vines and their surroundings work in harmony, giving white wines of pronounced minerality and good ageing potential.
Grapes
A multi-vintage blend of Garganega, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc. It brings together the four best vintages of the past decade: 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Vinification
Grapes from each vintage were macerated on the skins for 10 hours. Fermentation began at a low temperature. Around 10% of the must underwent malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine aged for 6 months in old barrels, then moved to stainless steel tanks for further ageing.
Label / history
Produced by the family-owned company Pasqua. The label is a multi-vintage release, assembled from the 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 vintages.
