Vineyard and terroir

The Cortese grapes come from a carefully selected blend of several hillside exposures in the Gavi area. The sites represent different terroir compositions.

Grapes

Cortese.

Vinification

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks. The wine then remains in stainless steel for several months and is normally bottled in March.

Tasting profile

Salty and mineral in character, with spicy nuances and aromas of ripe, generous fruit. The palate combines an approachable style with a complex body.

Serving and pairing

Its approachable profile makes it suitable for pairing with many different types of cuisine. It also has good ageing potential.
