Vineyard and terroir
The Gurra and Dispensa vineyards lie in the Menfi area at 200 m above sea level. Gurra has clay and limestone soils, while Dispensa has rocky soil containing yellow and dark grey clay.
Vinification
Harvest begins on 25 August. The grapes are gently crushed, then fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 15 °C. The wine is bottled in the second half of February.
Tasting profile
Vibrant, with an intense mineral character and distinctive aromas associated with fruit from the clay and limestone soils of Gurra.
