Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the “Maroccoli” vineyard in the Menfi area, at 370 metres above sea level.
Vinification
Harvest begins in the first days of September. After picking, the grapes macerate for almost two weeks at 25 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels, one-third of which are new.
Tasting profile
The 2004 vintage has excellent structure.
