Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are selected at Tenuta Albore in Scansano, within Maremma Toscana, and vinified at the estate.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested slightly overripe and undergo traditional red vinification with a 12-day maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in 70 hl Slavonian oak casks.

Alcohol: 13% vol. Bottle size: 750 ml.
Tasting profile
Deep ruby red. The broad, complex bouquet combines blackberry preserve, black pepper, liquorice, vanilla and balsamic herbs. The palate is warm, rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins integrated with a pleasing freshness.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–18°C. Pair with grilled meats, substantial pasta dishes such as pappardelle with mushrooms or white-meat ragù, and moderately aged cheeses.
