Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, and vinification relies exclusively on indigenous yeasts. A variable 30–40% of the total fruit is fermented on the skins using a red-wine method, then slowly incorporated into the remaining portion.
Ageing
The resulting wine undergoes bâtonnage on its fine lees for 6–7 months.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow in colour, with a rich, fruit-led character. The nose opens with intense floral aromas before moving toward banana, pear and apple. These aromas carry naturally onto the palate, where fruit and honey are joined by gentle acidity and a savoury note. The wine has substantial structure.
Label / history
The name is linked to the Piedmontese dialect expression “L’è propi bun, neh!”, meaning that something is truly good. “Neh” is described as a word deeply embedded in everyday Piedmontese speech.
