Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in Trentino, in the foothills of the Dolomites. The mountain climate and varied microclimates help preserve freshness and develop fruity notes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified by the traditional method. Fermentation takes place before cellar ageing.
Ageing
The wine rests for 24 months in dedicated cellars, including extended ageing on the lees.
Tasting profile
A fine, lively stream of bubbles accompanies a complex, elegant and refined aroma, with notes of bread and golden apple. The wine is fresh, fruity and bright.
Serving and pairing
It pairs with Italian and international dishes.
Label / history
Rotari takes its name from King Rothari, the seventh-century Lombard ruler who campaigned in Trentino, conquered almost all of Northern Italy and wrote the Lombard Kingdom’s first legal code in Latin. In 2013, AlpeRegis Extra Brut received a silver medal in a blind tasting at the Mundus Vini International Tasting Competition in Paris, held under the patronage of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine.
