Estate context
Acqua di Venus Cuvée belongs to Ruffino’s Prosecco portfolio. La Duchessa is the principal winery of Poderi Ducali Ruffino in San Donà di Piave, in the province of Venice. Poderi Ducali’s three Veneto estates cover approximately 190 hectares and are farmed organically.
La Duchessa’s principal varieties are Glera—the key grape used for Prosecco—and Pinot Grigio. Its Rialto vineyard lies in San Donà di Piave, while the Arsenale vineyard is in Cessalto, Treviso; both have predominantly clay soils.
Label / history
The Aqua di Venus brand was introduced in 2020–2021 and evokes the unspoiled character of Maremma.
