Label / history
The name Ponte d'Oro, literally “golden bridge,” refers to Florence’s Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River. The city’s oldest bridge, it was originally occupied by butchers’ shops and now houses souvenir and jewellery stores. The bridge is depicted on the label as a link to Italian traditions and the country’s long winemaking heritage.
