Vineyard and terroir
The San Gervasio estate lies in the Pisa Hills, 25 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its 22 hectares of vineyards stand at 160–200 m within a 400-hectare property. The dry, well-ventilated Mediterranean climate is moderated by proximity to the sea. Mineral soils have marine origins. Estate-wide viticulture combines densities of 6,000–10,000 vines per hectare with low yields per vine and organic cultivation.
