Ageing
The wine matures for six months in large oak barrels and concrete vats.
Tasting profile
Elegant and refined, with a distinctive bouquet.
Label / history
The cooperative takes its name from the village of Colterenzio near Girlan and was founded in 1960 by 28 local farmers. Its labels show the silhouette of a 15th-century castle built by Archduke Sigismund, a supporter of viticulture in the area; the castle now lies almost entirely in ruins.
