Vineyard and terroir
Most of the fruit comes from the estate of the same name. Its old vines grow in the sandy soils of the vineyard known as Carthage, where harvesting traditionally takes place one or two weeks later than at neighbouring properties.
Vinification
Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless-steel tanks for 8–10 days at 22–25 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in oak barriques, followed by four months in bottle before release. The barrique ageing contributes elegance and longevity.
Tasting profile
The 2014 vintage has an intense, exceptionally exuberant exotic bouquet.
