Vineyard and terroir
Sicily’s favourable climate gives the grapes ample sunshine and contributes subtle maritime notes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, carefully sorted and gently pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures briefly on its fine lees in the same stainless-steel tanks, followed by at least three months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Fresh, soft and delicate, with subtle maritime notes.
Vintage notes
The 2021 growing season began slightly earlier than usual, and harvesting started about a week ahead of schedule. The summer brought very hot days, with showers in July and August. Otherwise relatively dry conditions helped keep the grapes healthy, resulting in an excellent harvest.
